I may be new to SAIF, but certainly not to workers' comp or the insurance business. After serving as director of DCBS, I spent seventeen years in the health care industry, where understanding and responding to the needs of employers and patients is the clearest path to success. Workers' comp is no different.
At SAIF, our number one priority is reducing workplace injuries and illnesses. Doing so requires direct engagement with our policyholders and their workers. Our loss control consultants and return-to-work specialists understand that one size doesn't fit all employers. We take it upon ourselves to learn as much as we can about the individual needs of each industry and business we work with.
We have 900 employees, each of whom takes great pride in his or her work and plays an important role serving our customers. We invest heavily to train our staff, and set high expectations for all. Our goal is to lead our industry in service. We believe we're succeeding.
