New law on timely first payment to workers
House Bill 2797 adds a variable to the time frame for when the first payment is due.

The Workers' Compensation Division recently sent a notice to workers' compensation insurers, self-insured employers, service companies, attorneys, employer groups, worker leasing companies, and other interested parties about House Bill 2797, relating to timely first payment of time loss.
