Effective July 1, 2011, Walgreens will no longer participate in the Oregon Prescription Drug Program (OPDP).
The OPDP pharmacy network provides injured workers with access to more than 500 pharmacies throughout Oregon. In addition, there is extensive pharmacy coverage outside of Oregon.
On June 3, letters were sent to workers who have recently filled prescriptions at Walgreens. The letter explains options for choosing a network retail pharmacy or a mail order program.
Call ODS at 800.913.4282 if you have questions about locating a network pharmacy, or go to the OPDP website, which lists participating pharmacies and has a pharmacy finder tool to locate one near you.
