October group discounts
Employers with a better-than-average loss history who also meet a group's program-specific eligibility criteria may qualify for group programs.
SAIF has partnerships with more than 20 trade and business associations that endorse SAIF as their workers’ comp carrier of choice. Employers with a better-than-average loss history who meet a group’s program-specific eligibility criteria may qualify for one of these group programs and receive the benefits of participation.
One potential benefit for policyholders who belong to a group—and meet the necessary underwriting criteria—is the supplemental group discount (Oregon Group Supplemental Experience Rating Plan, or OGSERP). Once a discount is validated by NCCI—which should be in early November—we'll file for approval from DCBS for the following discounts:
Discount percentage | Group name |
---|---|
15 | Associated General Contractors |
11 | Associated Oregon Industries Manufacturing |
9 | Associated Oregon Industries Retail/Wholesale |
17 | Associated Oregon Industries Services |
10 | Associated Oregon Industries Transportation |

Contact your underwriter or service center insurance representative to determine if an employer qualifies to participate in one of these programs.
