Impairment and Mr. Rogers at WC Seminar
And that’s not all: Kerry Barnett, Total Worker Health®, and unconscious bias, too.
More than 180 people attended the 24th annual Workers’ Comp Seminar on May 4, making it one of our most successful in a decade.
SAIF’s President and CEO, Kerry Barnett, addressed the attendees for the first time since coming to SAIF a year ago, with an overview of SAIF and how our agents are an integral part of the workers’ comp system.
Graham Slater, Oregon Employment Department, followed Barnett with his presentation, “Economic Growth Across the State of Oregon.” He began with very favorable news in his segment, “Reasons 2015 was Excellent.”
After lunch, Darren Lee, trial counsel for SAIF, regaled the crowd with a “Fireside chat with SAIF legal” in the genre of “Mr. Roger's Neighborhood”—one of the most entertaining law CEC hours agents will ever get.
