The Department of Consumer and Business Services has announced that the average pure premium rate will decrease by 5.6 percent for 2021.
The cents-per-hour assessment for the Workers' Benefit Fund will stay the same at 2.2 cents per hour. The premium assessment rate would increase from 8.4 percent to 9.0 percent. An online hearing on the proposed workers' compensation premium assessment rates will be held at 3 p.m. in Thursday, September 17.
