HR trainings cover recruiting, retention

SAIF is partnering with HR Answers to deliver three live webinars on recruiting, hiring, and retention . The webinars, on November 1, 15, and 29, will cover recruiting and sourcing; hiring and interviewing; and retention.
Deborah Jeffries, the vice president for HR Answers, Inc., will deliver the webinars. Deborah has more than 30 years of HR experience and currently teaches the SHRM Certification prep course at Linfield University.
The webinars are part of SAIF’s ongoing effort to deliver free resources for policyholders about common HR issues. This includes eLearning modules in partnership with employment law firm Barran Liebman LLP on topics like rules and procedures, incident documentation, and I-9 compliance.
We also have on-demand webinars with Barran Liebman on COVID-19 guidance for businesses. They will be providing an upcoming training on December 15 about updated guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on viral and antibody testing for COVID-19.
SAIF is also partnering with Barran Liebman and Sather, Byerly & Holloway LLP to provide claims consulting. Not every company has immediate access to an employment law expert, so we are providing up to one hour of employment law counsel on an active claim for qualifying policyholders referred by their SAIF servicing team.
