Spooky's Pizza

Spooky’s Pizza seats more than 200, and owner Bob Stanek says it reaches capacity often. When the pandemic closed their indoor dining, and they switched to drive-through only, cars lined up, snaking their way through the expansive parking lot. Bob said he had to spend a lot more on pizza boxes every month.

Bob insists he works for his employees, not the other way around. He tries to hire as many young workers as he can. When they graduate from high school and head off for college, he’s always hoping they will come back to work on summer breaks. “Walk in, clock in, I tell them.”
