After marking 52 years in business, Sunnyside Sports shows no signs of tapping the brakes. After the founders built the shop into a community institution known for getting people on two wheels, current owners Susan Conner and Mike Schindler carry on a philosophy of making everyone feel welcome in the store.

While the thrill of riding a bike has stayed the same, evolving technology means the bikes haven’t. But the long-tenured employees of Sunnyside have all the answers for anyone rolling through the door, whether they’re a family looking for a new bike or a pro getting ready for their next race.
